Cecilia Ebba - Just Fantasy (Philip Reach Remix)

It was a great pleasure to work on this for Cecila. One of the most challenging remixes we have done and we're very pleased how it turned out. The original song was in a 12/8 time signature and quite gritty due to the ethos of the song. Turning it on it's head to give a more clean cut vibe to contrast to the vocals. Using the guitar parts to create sound bed noise floor rhythms helped to keep some of the original atmosphere as well as adding extra ambience layers captured from a location recording.
