NOR: Networks of Randomness

Networks have been an interesting development to my productions. They have helped me keep continuity across extended play records. They are complex fx/modulation chains that have been designed to harness patterns within randomness. Add more about having to do lots of passes to find the gold.

A really interesting result was using this technique inconjuction with modulation filters and parameter-lock function on the Analog RYTM when sequencing parameter changes in conjunction with the probability parameter settings. Double the randomness, double the possibilities.

I have included an example below to demonstrate. The first audio clip is the synth line with no network (deliberately very basic and crude). The second audio clip is the synth line with the network applied.
